James Brown was one of the leaders in American society who advocated a change in the attitude of African Americans with songs such as “Say it Loud, I’m Black and Proud,” and “I don’t want you to give me nothing. ” Songs like “Keep on Pushin’” and “People Get Ready” helped to prepare the American social and cultural landscape for greater inclusion of the African American community. African American moviegoers began to notice that they were not present in the majority of movies they frequented. And those films that did include them did so in token roles or gave them exaggerated characteristics that tended to underscore the negative qualities of African Americans.

At the same time, Hall provided an ending that easily allowed for yet another sequel, one that would not be burdened with the problem of bringing a dead monster back to life. CONCLUSION When Universal Studios decided not to shoot Hall’s Sequel to Dracula, it became another addition to the vast Hollywood library of unproduced film treatments.
